Cologne was a casual, energetic city with enough to entertain us without feeling overwhelmed by our surroundings. Its blend of cultural, historical, and family-friendly activities kept our entire group happy.
I recommend a visit to Płaszów Concentration Camp to anyone in Krakow who wants to learn more about the Holocaust or Poland’s World War II history. Especially for us as a family with a younger child, it was an appropriate alternative to visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau, and a visit I will never forget.
